Advice for Leaders

• Be competent to lead groups and be appropriately equipped to ensure the safety of the group.
• Reconnoitre the route some time before the actual walk.
• Ensure all walkers are suitably equipped
• Be aware of any member having difficulties and take appropriate action.
• Carry a first aid kit and survival bag.
